A Chicago-area hotel, where many Texas Democrats who left the state in protest were staying, was evacuated for the second time just two days apart due to another bomb threat on Friday.

A second bomb threat was reported Friday at the suburban Chicago hotel and convention center that was housing Texas Democrats in Illinois while battling a redistricting controversy.

Texas Democrats said their members were forced to evacuate their hotel after receiving a bomb threat in Chicago.
