Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders ultimately may not have moved the needle much in Friday's 30-10 win over the Carolina Panthers.

The Cleveland Browns will trot out Shedeur Sanders to start their first preseason game under center Friday against the Carolina Panthers, but we may also see his rookie counterpart Dillon Gabriel. The two rookies are competing in the Browns' four-man quarterback competition alongside Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett,

The Cleveland Browns still have some decisions to make at starting quarterback but Shedeur Sanders might have knocked Dillon Gabriel out of contention. A former Oregon Ducks star, Gabriel was a third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
