Millions of Americans will be coming together today to celebrate Thanksgiving, cook together, throw a ball around, watch the Macy's parade, play with the kids, and gather around the table for a day of family and conversation.

Some Florida grocery stores will close for the Thanksgiving holiday, while others will have limited hours. Here's a list.

Thanksgiving is a government holiday. That means federal offices, courts, and post offices will be closed. Other government institutions - think the DMV and local libraries - will also be closed. In Miami-Dade, all county courts and Clerk of the Courts offices will also be closed on Friday and reopen on Monday.
