JPMorgan’s chief executive has told associates of his support for the vice president, and his dislike of Donald Trump. But fearful of blowback, he won’t say it publicly.

Oct 22 (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase JPM.N CEO Jamie Dimon would consider a government role, perhaps that of the Treasury Secretary, if Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris wins the US presidential election, the New York Times reported on Tuesday.

JPMorgan spokesman Joseph Evangelisti emphasises that Dimon has never publicly endorsed a presidential candidate; instead, he speaks on policies to help strengthen the country and lift communities.
