Browns five-time Pro Bowl receiver Amari Cooper has been the subject of trade speculation for the past week, ever since Kansas City’s Rashee Rice was lost to a knee injury, and other teams have developed the need for a premier receiver.

Browns running back Nick Chubb, who practiced this week for the first time since the 2023 season, will not play in Sunday's game vs. the Washington Commanders.

The Browns, however, will get running back Pierre Strong Jr. back in this game against the Commanders after missing the last three matchups. Jerome Ford, fresh off of one of his best games, will likely be the bellcow once again against the Commanders after stealing the bulk of the carries against the Las Vegas Raiders.
