Christian Wilkins former teammate, Terron Armstead, is calling out the rumors surrounding his former Miami Dolphins teammate's release from the Las Vegas Raiders.

HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — Christian Wilkins’ expected impact on the Raiders’ defensive line was in question long before he was shockingly released last week, which if nothing else provided clarity on what kind of front Las Vegas can take into the season.

“This franchise has a Commitment to Excellence on and off the field,” the Raiders said in a statement after Wilkins’ release. “With no clear path or plan for future return to play from Christian, this transaction is necessary for the entire organization to move forward and prepare for the new season.”
