American tennis sensation Coco Gauff ended her season in style Saturday, rallying to defeat China’s Zheng Qinwen to win the WTA Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The American tennis star captured her first WTA Finals title over the weekend, beating Qinwen Zheng in a three-set thriller, 3–6, 6–4, 7–6. With this win, Gauff earned a record $4,805,000 from the tournament.

Collecting her $4.8 million check, she won the WTA Finals after beating the two best players in the world, Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek.

Coco Gauff became the youngest WTA Finals winner since Maria Sharapova in 2004 on Saturday at age 20, and the first American woman to capture the year-ending tournament since Serena Williams in 2014.
