On Thursday, Nix was named the NFL's Rookie of the Week for the third consecutive occasion — a franchise record. Only former running back Knowshon Moreno won the award more times (4) in his inaugural NFL campaign.

Nix became the first Broncos player to ever win the award three times in a row, according to the organization. He surpassed the previous mark, set by Tim Tebow with two consecutive wins, and is sitting at second place in total Rookie of the Week awards behind Knowshon Moreno who won the award a total of four times in 2009.

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix was named the NFL rookie of the week for the third week running on Thursday, the team announced in a news release. Nix earned the award after completing 25 of 42 pass attempts for 273 yards and two touchdowns in the Broncos’ week 12 win over their division rival the Las Vegas Raiders.
