Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets into northern Israel on Tuesday as the group's Deputy Secretary-General Naim Kassem issued a defiant address vowing to defeat Israel's operations in Lebanon. More Israelis in the north of the country will be displaced as Hezbollah expands its operations, he said.

Hezbollah has again fired rockets at the northern Israeli city of Haifa, after the city was hit for the first time in 18 years on Monday Israel reported more than 100 rockets in Haifa and the wider region on Tuesday,

Iran's foreign minister warned Israel against launching an attack, saying on Tuesday any strike on Iranian infrastructure would be met with a stronger retaliation. Iran attacked Israel last week with a salvo of missiles.

Iran has a number of sensitive sites, including oil infrastructure, military installations and nuclear facilities.
