Mike Kafka will interview with the Philadelphia Eagles, following his stint as the New York Giants' interim head coach.
The Eagles have interviewed former Giants interim head coach Mike Kafka for their offensive coordinator opening, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Kafka became the interim after head coach Brian Daboll got fired in November.
The Eagles are familiar with Kafka from his time as a player. He was Philadelphia’s backup quarterback in 2010 and 2011. After his short NFL career, Kafka joined former Eagles coach Andy Reid’s staff with the Chiefs. He spent four of his five years in Kansas City as the quarterbacks coach for Patrick Mahomes.
