Waukee's newest elementary school, Sugar Creek, was ready for the more than 600 students that walked through its doors Tuesday — and, in a growing district, is prepared for even more.

Sugar Creek will be closed to students on 12/18, 12/19 and 12/20. Sugar Creek is the only school in our system impacted at this time, but we will continue to monitor all schools in the district.
