Taiwan government says it has detained three employees on suspicion they obtained the Taiwanese chip giant’s “core technology trade secrets.”

Three individuals, including current and former employees of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., were detained on suspicion of illegally obtaining trade secrets related to core key technologies, according to Taiwanese prosecutors.
