Jannik toppled Daniel Elahi Galan 6-1, 6-1 in the second round in 59 minutes. He faced Gabriel Diallo in the third round and earned a 6-2, 7-6 triumph. The Italian saved a set point in the tie break and moved over the top. He will seek his 24th straight victory on hard against the French veteran, Adrian Mannarino.
