HBO has released the first look at the comedian and actor in costume as the half-giant and Hogwarts groundskeeper Rubeus Hagrid for its upcoming "Harry Potter" series. The photo was shared to the official "Harry Potter" and HBO Max social media accounts.

HBO announced production has commenced on its "Harry Potter" series, and photos were released showing Dominic McLaughlin and Nick Frost in costume as Harry and Hagrid, respectively.

HBO's "Harry Potter" television adaptation is slowly coming together, but we're still a ways out from actually getting it on our screens. That said, we are learning more and more as the months go on.
