Deron Mayo, 36, has been with New England since 2018, serving as an assistant strength coach under Moses Cabrera until he was elevated into the head role last season. Before that he was playing the game as a linebacker, spending the summer of 2011 with the Broncos before heading to the CFL from 2012-17.

Less than a month after being named head coach of the New England Patriots, Mike Vrabel has assembled his full coaching staff.

Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez played his first season under Bill Belichick. He played his second season under Jerod Mayo. He will play his third season under Mike Vrabel. Gonzalez said things changed inside the building from 2023 to 2024.
