"Pretty Woman" star Richard Gere has sold the Connecticut estate he purchased from musician Paul Simon for $10.75 million, just a few months after he voiced his desire to leave the U.S. and pursue a life in Spain.

Amid his move to Spain, the “Pretty Woman” star parted ways with his New Canaan spread — and it’s not the first time it sold for less than the purchase price.

The "An Officer and a Gentleman" star sold the 32-acre New Canaan property, located at 82 Brookwood Lane, for $10.75 million last month, according to the town's property records. Gere still has his New York home home in Westchester County so it appears he will keep some presence in the United States.
