Nick Chubb has a new team, but Cleveland will always be home and a reunion with the Browns could still happen, even if it’s just ceremonial. Chubb agreed to a one-year deal with the Houston Texans after a reunion with the Browns fell through. His deal with the Texans is worth $2.5 million, with incentives worth an additional $2.5 million.

Nick Chubb endured two injury-wrecked seasons but the Pro Bowl running back is fully healthy and ready to roll with the Texans.

Chubb was a second-round pick by the Browns in 2018 and had spent his entire career with Cleveland up until this point. A knee injury limited him to two games in 2023 and forced him to miss part of the 2024 season as well. Chubb then ended last season on IR with a foot injury.
