Shortly after the Steelers officially signed Aaron Rodgers, Pittsburgh punter Corliss Waitman willing gave up the No. 8 to his new teammate. It now appears that recently-acquired cornerback Jalen Ramsey has received the same courtesy from Pittsburgh's other punter.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have revealed the jersey numbers of their two newest players, tight end Jonnu Smith and Jalen Ramsey, both of whom were acquired in the blockbuster trade with the Miami Dolphins.

The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired star cornerback Jalen Ramsey at the end of June, but traded All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to do it. And while the Steelers got better at cornerback, a hole at safety is left in Fitzpatrick’s absence.
