The inauguration of the newly elected US president is set to take place on January 20. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed a desire to attend the event but emphasized that he would do so only at the direct invitation of Donald Trump,

Zelenskyy also disclosed that approximately 3,800 North Korean soldiers fighting for Russia have been killed or injured in the war. He warned that Russia could deploy even larger numbers of North Korean soldiers to the frontlines, stating, “Up to 30-40 thousand, or even 500 thousand North Koreans could come to fight with us.”

Ukrainian and Western assessments show that around 11,000 North Korean troops are stationed in the Kursk region.
