An 81-year-old man was killed when the paraglider he was piloting struck a tree and he fell 50 feet to the ground south of Brainerd Wednesday evening. The incident was reported just after 6:30 p.m. near to North Central Speedway in Crown Wing Township, where paramotor pilot Wayne Kyar had crashed into a tree.
