Feb 20, 2023 · I don’t ‘hate’ it - but as the grownup in the car, most of the ‘kidz bop’ songs are just…mediocre sanitized versions of songs I used to like. It’s…fine, it’s just usually bland, and more so because I actually know how the song is supposed to go. But it’s nowhere near as bad as the ‘holiday versions’ of songs.

As someone who works with kids, I’d rather listen to Kidz Bop than the other annoying sh!t they play for children these days. “Happy happy happy” and “Baby Shark” make me want to bang my head in the wall. Companies like Disney and Hasbro tend to make good kids songs though, that are orchestrated and sound like actual music.
