On behalf of the Village Board of Trustees, I want to welcome you to the Village of Pleasant Prairie. Our Village is a community consisting of the finest citizens in southeast Wisconsin. Pleasant Prairie is a municipal government classified as a Village by the State of Wisconsin.

Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin is; located between I-94 and the ; Lake Michigan shoreline - 37 miles ; from Milwaukee and 57 from Chicago.

Village residents enjoy the outdoors year-round with great views of Lake Michigan and Lake Andrea. Walking, biking, rollerblading, swimming, sailboarding, soccer, baseball, and ice fishing are common activities in Pleasant Prairie.

On December 16, 2024, the Village of Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission approved the Preliminary Site and Operational Plans for the proposed expansion of the Eli Lilly and Company facility located at 10300 128th Avenue in the Prairie Highlands Corporate Park.

Pleasant Prairie is a municipal government classified as a Village by the State of Wisconsin. The Village is a "Home Rule" municipality, meaning that the Village can exercise all powers necessary for the protection of public peace, welfare and property within our corporate limits.
