St. Catherine of Alexandria, Temecula, began as a Mission church of San Jacinto, Lake Elsinore and Pala in 1910. It became a parish of the Diocese of San Bernardino in 1979. The church was relocated from Front Street in Old Town Temecula to its present location in 1990.
