Jan 10, 2022 · Tumbbad with a 50 crore budget would’ve been world class. They did an excellent job with the special effects with whatever little money they had. But VFX definitely needed improvements if I purely look at it as a movie and ignore its budget constraints.

Dec 13, 2021 · Tumbbad is on Amazon Prime for free rn and it’s insane! the body horror is A+, seems very Evil Dead inspired, and there is some social commentary as well. overall i thought it was a fascinating film and so rare to see Indian horror repped. check it out.

“Tumbbad” is an amazing Indian folk horror This might be the best Indian film, horror or not, I have ever seen, no kidding. It tells a story of a cursed village where downpour never stops, and that’s all I’m going to tell you (but, so you know, the plot is one of the strongest parts of the film).
