On Friday, January 12th at around 3PM, 911 dispatchers received multiple reports of a vegetation fire near the intersection of Riverside Drive and Baker Street in Lake Elsinore. The first arriving company officer reported a 100 x 100 spot of vegetation burning at a slow rate in medium fuels. Firefighters quickly contained the fire and remained on-scene performing mop-up for about an hour.
