How's this for a bedroom view? Looking out from the Castlebay Hotel in Barra towards Kisimul Castle at sunset. Built in the mid-1400s by the MacNeils, this was their base for around 400 years! Barra is such a beautiful island and although not everything is open in March, that just means it's extra peaceful. The beaches aren't bothered about opening hours anyway! More to come from here once I've got the time to write about it, but for now, it's time enjoy the Garden of the Outer Hebrides! | Scotl
