They told us it’s “the most wonderful time of the year” — but it’s winter, nature is resting, and humans are stressed, broke, and guilt-shopping for people they haven’t spoken to all year. A big man breaking into your house is normal. Going into debt to prove love is expected. And opting out makes you the villain. I give myself joy, gifts, and peace every day, not just in December. Capitalism just needed a holiday to sell you guilt wrapped in tinsel. This isn’t anti-joy. It’s anti-delusion. • #C
