George Marks Elementary students worked with members of the Florida Forest Service to plant over 100 trees on school grounds to replace the trees lost during the 2020 EF-2 tornado. How do you know if there’s bears in your woods? One way is that, if you have red pine trees scattered through your forest, you can check them them for bear sign — specifically claw marks and bite marks.
