Needle Felted Giraffe Sculpture This sculpture begins with a simple wire armature, layered with core wool to shape the body and muscle tone of a giraffe. From there, the magic begins — blending coloured fibres, building depth, and sculpting the gentle expressions that make this animal so special. My favourite part is always in the details: the soft creases around the eyes, the hand-sculpted wool-and-wax hooves, the delicate eyelashes, and assembling those beautiful giraffe ears.
