Rifle season is officially open for deer and elk in our area of Idaho, but a backcountry elk hunt with us means more than just hunting elk. It’s an elk-deer-grouse-predator combo. If you hunt with any outfitter or on your own in Idaho, don’t forget about your wolf tags too. Predator management is an obligation for all of us.
