The Jamaica Defence Force has dedicated a helicopter to locate and coordinate the collection of the bodies of persons who lost their lives during Hurricane Melissa. Yesterday there were reports that four bodies remained unretrieved in Eastern Westmoreland, where fallen trees, utility poles and severe flooding have cut off access to the area. #GLNRToday | Jamaica Gleaner

Conditions are deteriorating across Jamaica as the extremely dangerous category 5 Hurricane Melissa slowly approaches the island.
