Mexican sage bush (Salvia leucantha) is a beauty of a bush to grow. Stunning purple flowers and incredibly hardy. But it needs an annual prune to keep it looking 100% fresh. Here’s how: 🪻 Once the flowers start to die it’s time to cut the bush back. This usually happens in winter, I leave them as long as I can cause I love their colour in our winter garden. 🪻 When you look at the base of the plants you should see two different looking stems.
