This is one of my all time favorite salads. This vintage recipe for wilted lettuce, or salad with warm bacon dressing is simple but delicious. The bacon brings richness and a nice savory kick that is nicely balanced by the sugar, and vinegar. If you have never had this salad, you have to give it a try! Full printable recipe: https://cookingwithcarlee.com/wilted-lettuce-salad-with-warm-bacon/ Ingredients: 6 slices bacon 8 cups leaf lettuce 1 small sweet onion ¼ cup apple cider vinegar ½ teaspoon
