Minnow, our Asian fishing cat, is one of many endangered species that live at Panther Ridge. Native to the wetlands and mangroves of Southeast Asia, their numbers are declining rapidly due to a number of reasons. Habitat loss from human overdevelopment, wetland degradation, retaliatory killings due to human-wildlife conflict and prey reduction caused by overfishing and pollution leave their numbers to an estimated 3,000 individuals remaining.
