Miracle on 34th St. is a wonderful Christmas movie most people will be watching these Holidays. Here at PVHS we have our own miracle happening. Our committed Volunteers are watching over these precious puppies that were dumped on the side of the road at barely four weeks old. Their eyes have barely been open and they have seen more than they should. But they are our little Christmas Miracles. Miracle on 34th Street was written and directed by George Seaton. The idea for the story was when Seaton and writer Valentine Davies were discussing how Christmas was becoming more and more commercialized. And then the thought occurred - What is Santa Claus came to town, what would happen? The cast includes Maureen O'Hara, John Payne, Edmund Gwenn and Natalie Wood. O'Hara was initially reluctant to take the role when it was offered to her, but after reading the script quickly changed her mind. W
