Two RAF aircraft were involved in the rescue of a sailor from the Atlantic Ocean after his yacht lost its mast in stormy conditions, over the weekend. An Atlas A400M aircraft from RAF Brize Norton , was tasked to assist a Poseidon P-8 from RAF Lossiemouth in the rescue of the distressed sailor whose ship had lost its mast and was struggling in 6-metre-high waves. This video, taken from the Poseidon, shows the stricken yacht, the dropping of rescue equipment and the rescue of the sailor. #noordin
