ICYMI: Eureka was towed to Mare Island! The tow operation last Thursday went smoothly, and Eureka arrived safely at the Mare Island Naval Shipyard after about five hours. This temporary home at Mare Island is where Eureka will undergo a much-anticipated restoration project. While it was sad to see Eureka go, it was like being transported back in time to when this ferry made daily trips, back and forth across the bay.
